Technical Assistance for the Young Parents Demonstration Grant
Client: U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), Employment Training Administration (ETA) Work: -Provided evaluation training and technical assistance to workforce development grantees supporting young parents. -Conducted site visits and focus groups to assess program challenges and participant experiences. -Developed data monitoring reports to track program performance and participant outcomes. -Assisted grantees in implementing evidence-based practices for improving education and employment outcomes. -Provided recommendations to federal agencies on best practices for young parent workforce development programs.

Native American Center for Excellence (NACE) Prevention Technical Assistance
Client: U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Work: -Provided technical assistance to tribal communities on behavioral health and substance abuse prevention. -Developed training materials on needs assessment, community readiness, and program implementation. -Facilitated peer-to-peer learning sessions to promote knowledge-sharing among tribal health professionals. -Conducted literature reviews and contributed to updating best practices for substance abuse prevention in Native American communities. -Supported collaborative efforts between SAMHSA, Native American communities, and other federal agencies.

Improving Operational Efficiency and Effectiveness of Public Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Systems
Client: U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Work: -Assisted in the review and evaluation of emergency preparedness programs for public health crises. -Evaluated web-based survey questionnaires used to assess the readiness of public health agencies. -Provided recommendations for improving operational efficiency in emergency response systems. -Analyzed data from 62 state and territorial public health agencies to assess preparedness gaps. -Contributed to policy recommendations to enhance emergency response strategies at the national level.

Training Provided to DC Public Schools on Engaging Asian Families
Client: District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS) Work: -Designed and delivered cultural competency training for teachers, counselors, and administrators on engaging Asian families in schools. -Developed training materials addressing language barriers, cultural differences, and best practices for parent engagement. -Provided practical strategies to enhance communication between schools and Asian immigrant families. -Facilitated interactive workshops to educate school personnel on the unique challenges faced by Asian students and their families.
