Step 1: Initial Paperwork and Lawyer CommunicationAfter scheduling your evaluation, you’ll receive: Consent forms A release of information form A brief questionnaire Once completed, I will consult with your attorney to address specific aspects of your case in the report.

Step 2: Clinical InterviewsYou’ll attend two sessions (1.5 hours each) one week apart. These sessions include: In-depth interviews: Exploring your personal history, mental health, and circumstances relevant to your immigration case. Assessment tools: Structured questionnaires to evaluate symptoms of trauma, anxiety, depression, or other psychological conditions. Sessions are conducted in person at my North Bethesda or College Park, Maryland offices, or via secure, HIPAA-compliant teletherapy.

Step 3: Report Drafting and ReviewAfter the interviews, I prepare a detailed, evidence-based report (15–20 pages) that includes: Your personal and family history Evaluation findings Relevant diagnoses (if applicable) A summary connecting the findings to your immigration case You and your attorney will have an opportunity to review the draft and provide feedback before it is finalized.

Step 4: Final Report SubmissionThe finalized report is sent to your attorney and you within two weeks of the final session. Expedited services are available for urgent cases.
